This tool is working in a testing mode, so it may not be available to all sellers.

If you want to have your products split into several parts, you can transfer your PDPs between several personal accounts. The transfer will also involve customer reviews, questions and answers about products, and their position in search. The tool won’t allow you to transfer only reviews or product ratings: all related data is transferred with the PDP only.

The transfer is available in personal accounts that:

  • belong to a seller or a company not from Russia;
  • registered to a legal entity, not to a self-employed citizen.

If you create an additional personal account to split your product range or change the currency of the current account, make sure that the old and new accounts have the same TIN.

Transfer PDPs #

You can transfer PDPs that have On sale or Ready for sale statuses and are displayed on the corresponding tabs in the Products and prices → Product list section of your personal account.

You can’t transfer discounted or withdrawn from sale products, archived products, PDPs with errors, or products that are in stock at Ozon warehouses. If you request to transfer a product that has a markdown version, Ozon will hide the original and discounted products in the initial personal account.

Creating a request for transferring PDPs is available to users with the “Manager” or “Administrator” roles.

Step 1. Pick up or sell products from Ozon warehouses #

Do this before you submit a transfer request: otherwise we won’t be able to transfer selected PDPs.

Step 2. Fill in the request form and attach supporting documents #

You can have only one active transfer request in your personal account. If you forgot to include some products to the request, cancel it and create a new one, or wait until Ozon transfers the PDPs from the first request and create a new one with the lacking PDPs.
  1. In your personal account, go to the Products and prices → Manage PDPs section.
  2. In the PDPs transfer section, click Create a request.
  3. Select the transfer reason. This will determine the list of supporing documents you need to attach to your request.
  4. Specify the Seller ID of the personal account to which you want to transfer the PDPs. You can find the seller ID in the new personal account in the Settings → API keys section.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Upload the documents.
  7. Click Create.

It may take up to 5 days to process your request.

You can select products you want to transfer when the status of your request in the Products and prices → Manage PDPs section
changes to Can be transferred:

  1. Click Select products.
  2. Select the products. Select all PDPs at once or use filters in the list editing mode to select some of them. You can’t transfer one product at a time.
  3. Click Transfer products.

Step 5. Wait until the request is accepted in the new personal account #

When you transfer products, they don’t have to pass Ozon moderation, as these products are the copies of already moderated ones.

The administrator of the new personal account can approve or reject a request for transferring PDPs. Once the request is approved, Ozon will start transferring products. It may take up to 5 days.

After Ozon transfers all the products to the new personal account, we’ll remove them from sale in the old account and send them
to the Archived tab. You won’t be able to use these PDPs anymore.

Ozon will transfer the factory barcodes of your products. The codes generated in our system won’t be transferred. You’ll need to re-create them and put on the packages.

Transfer reasons #

Reason Case
Divided the product range between the accounts of one legal entity (partial product range transfer, currency of the current account is changing) You create an additional personal account with the same TIN to partially divide your product range between accounts. Accept the PDP transfer request #

The rating of the products that will be transferred to your personal account will affect the seller rating.

  1. Go to the Products and prices → Manage PDPs section. The application for transferring PDPs is in the section PDPs transfer → Incoming requests.
  2. Click to view the request details. Check the quantity of PDPs to be transferred.
  3. Make a decision on the request: click Accept or Reject. Rejecting a request is an irrevocable decision. In this case the administrator of the personal account from which you transfer the PDPs will need to create a new request.

Possible errors #

You can view the list of transfer errors in the Products and prices → Manage PDPs section: in the PDPs transfer → Transfer history block find your request and click Download XLS report.

Error How to fix it
There are product stocks at the Ozon warehouse Remove the stocks and create a new transfer request.
A product with this ID is already in the new personal account Change the ID of the product in one of the personal accounts. Create a new transfer request and add the corrected product to it.

The product is not available for sale on the website and cannot be transferred Check why the product is hidden and return it to sale. Create a new transfer request.
Failed to transfer the product The product can’t be transferred: there is a system error. Try creating a new request later or contact our support team: Content / Working with the PDPs → Transfer of PDPs to another personal account.
You haven’t uploaded brand certificates or other documents Ozon will transfer the PDPs, but hide them from sale until you upload the documents.

Statuses of transfer requests #

Status Value
Can be transferred Your documents have been verified. You can select products you want to transfer to another personal account.
Pending You have sent a request to transfer the PDPs. The administrator of the new personal account should consider it and make a decision.
Transferring PDPs The administrator of the new personal account has accepted your request to transfer PDPs. Ozon has started transferring them. This may take up to 5 days.
Transferred PDPs The products are transferred to the new personal account and archived in the original one.
Request rejected Your PDP transfer request has been rejected by the administrator or you’ve canceled it.

Transfer impact #

You can view a list of transfer requests in the Products and prices → Manage PDPs → PDPs transfer → Transfer history section.

PDPs #

If you transfer the PDPs from your personal account:

  • They will be moved to the Archived tab in the Products and prices → Product list section.
  • The request status in the Products and prices → Manage PDPs → PDPs transfer → Transfer history section will change to Transferred PDPs. You’ll also see the transfer date.

If the PDPs are transferred to your personal account:

  • They will be moved to the Ready for sale and For sale tabs in the in the Products and prices → Product list.
  • The request status in the Products and prices → Manage PDPs → PDPs transfer → Transfer history section will change to Transferred PDPs. You’ll also see the transfer date.

If the product has already appeared in your personal account, you can replenish its stocks and start selling. Transferring reviews, ratings, comments, search positions, questions and answers takes up to 5 days.

Sales #

Sales are influenced by the rating of a particular product and the seller rating. If a personal account to which you transfer products has low rating, sales may become lower as well. Learn more about seller rating.

Brand account #

Transferring PDPs to a new personal account doesn’t affect your brand account.

Product returns #

Pick up your returned products before you terminate your contract with Ozon. You won’t be able to pick up the returns after termination.

Transferring PDPs doesn’t affect your ability to pick up returns: you can pick up a product if its PDP is already in
another personal account at the moment when the return has just arrived at the warehouse.

Influence on customers #

Once transferred, products will disappear from your customers' Favorites section and product subscriptions since old PDPs will be hidden.

You’ll also need to reissue promo codes and customer bonuses in the new personal account.
