Product photos #

You can’t use:

• images of alcohol;
• product sketches, for example, 3D models;
• black and white photos;
• blurry, unsharp, low-quality photos;
• photos taken at home: on the carpet and furniture backgrounds with shadows from other objects;
• inscriptions:
  • with prices, discounts, contact details, social networks;
  • with judgments, for example: “hit”, “best”, “leader”, “top”;
  • with the number of products sold: for example, “sold 100 pcs. already”.

18+ photo requirements #

The requirements apply to all product photos: the main image and additional ones.

Intimate parts of the body should be blurred or otherwise hidden in the images. For example, images of genitals, female breasts, buttocks and toys that mimic the genitals. The requirements apply to photos of products, people, and images on the packaging.

Recommendations when working with product photos #

• Don’t add advertising labels to the main photo.

Main image #

Photo requirements #

• The main image is only one.
• The photo corresponds to the product name and description.
• The product is shown in full. It’s clear from the photo how the product looks in use. For example, for bed linen upload linen photos on the bed, not in the package.
• The product takes up most of the space. There may be an empty space between the border of the image and the product, but no more than 2 pixels.
• The photo is color and of good quality.
• The photo is clear, the product is in focus.
• There should be no collage on the main photo.
• You can use infographics.

Link requirements #

To upload the main photo, you can add only one direct link.

Only the images themselves should be opened and downloaded from the links. Usually such links end with .jpeg, .jpg, .png symbols.

The exception is links to Yandex Disk. They are available in the https://yadi.sk/i/qUXcCwzmryWINw or https://disk.yandex.ru/i/qUXcCwzmryWINw format.

Correct link:

• Doesn’t lead to an HTML page with an image. For example, you can’t specify a link to a product review that contains photos.
• Doesn’t require authorization to access the image.

Additional images #

In order for customers add your product to the cart more often, we recommend uploading at least two additional images.

Image requirements #

• No more than 14 additional images.
• For food products there is an image with the list of ingredients, if it isn’t in the description.
• The images correspond to the product name and description.
• You can use infographics.

For some products, you can add photos on a person or in the interior:

• For clothes: photos on a person. The main and additional images.
• For furniture, bed linen, tablecloths and curtains: photos in the interior. The main and additional images.
• For food: photos in the interior. Only additional images.

If you upload additional photos separately, attach links for each image in turn. The quantity limit is 14 pieces. Separate the links with a space, semicolon, comma, or line break.

14 images from the folder will be used as additional photos. If you want to upload images in the right order, number their names. For example, “1”, “2”, “3” or “product1”, “product2”, “product3”.

Infographics #

Infographics are images on which you can visually tell about products with the help of memorable images or simple schemes. For example, to show the main properties, advantages, and composition.

Unlike text descriptions, graphics immediately attract attention and are well remembered. In the design, you can use branded colors and elements.

To work, an infographic must contain:

• Characteristics: product parameters.
• Benefits: why the customer should choose this particular product.
• Advantages: unique features. At the same time, it is forbidden to use advertising labels and value judgments like “hit”, “best”, “top”.

How to get a direct link to a photo #

Don’t upload images to Google Drive or Dropbox: you can’t get a direct link on these sites. We recommend using Yandex.Disk.

Via Yandex Disk #

1. Select a photo or a folder with images.
2. Click Share.
3. In the window that opens, click Copy link.

Via photo hosting sites #

You can also get direct links to images on photo hosting sites, for example, postimg.cc:

1. On the main page postimg.cc, upload a photo.

2. Copy the link in the Прямая ссылка (Direct link) block.

Photo 360 #

Photo 360 is a 3D photo of the product on its card on Ozon. Technically, photo 360 is a series of images, where in each image the product is taken from a different angle. Ozon will combine the images you uploaded into a 360 photo.

Image requirements #

• The images correspond to the product name and description.
• The product is shown in full in the image.
• The product takes up most of the space. There may be an empty space between the border of the image and the product, but no more than 2 pixels.
• The recommended size of each image is 200–300 Kb.
• Images are clear and color.
• The minimum number is 15 images. The more photos, the smoother the product overview on Ozon. Recommended number is from 36 to 60.
• The maximum number is 70 images.
• The images are arranged in a logical order. In the gallery, when viewing them, you can consistently review the product from all sides, the images don’t jump, the product scale doesn’t change.
• Slash isn’t used in the name of each image.

Link requirements #

Link to the folder with images (recommended method)

You can use the link to the folder with images on Yandex Disk. For example, https://yadi.sk/d/qUXcCwzmryWINw or https://diskya.ndex.ru/d/qUXcCwzmryWINw.

Make sure that there are between 15 and 70 images in your folder. If you want to upload images in the correct order, number their names. For example, “1”, “2”, “3” or “photo1”, “photo2”, “photo3”.

Link to one image
