Delivery Cost Calculation

You can calculate the delivery cost using our calculator.

Logistic companies can use the physical or volumetric weight of packages to calculate the transportation services cost.

Physical weight is the sum of the product and its packaging weight. For example, if you send a mug weighing 500 g, and the product package weight together with the protective material is 150 g, the physical weight is 650 g.

To calculate the volumetric weight, measure the length, width and height of the package in which the product is, and divide the resulting number by a certain indicator. Product packaging measurements are indicated at the product creation stage.

Carriers can calculate the delivery cost by:

  • the physical or volumetric weight of the shipment, depending on its dimensions;
  • the largest value of shipment weight.
