Airline vouchers

If the airline issued or offered to issue a voucher instead of a refund, do not rush to refuse it. The voucher is offered only if the airline is currently unable to refund the money. With the best will, it is impossible to change this situation, but there are several options for what you can do with this voucher:

  1. You can pay with a voucher for tickets or services of the airline that issued it. You can choose any route performed by this carrier, and in some cases even change the passenger. If the tickets you have selected are more expensive, you can pay the difference, if the tickets are cheaper, the balance will remain on the voucher, and you can spend it to buy new tickets.

  2. If you don’t use the voucher during its validity period, you can get a full refund for it. The validity of the voucher will be specified in the email. As a rule, this period can be from 1 to 3 years. Thus, during the voucher validity period you need to issue a ticket, and you can make a flight later.
