Things you can bring on board as hand luggage

Table of Content

Each carrier has its own rules for carrying hand luggage. You will always find the most up-to-date information on the airline’s official website, but there are general rules that are the same for everyone.

In your hand luggage you can take:

  • liquids with a volume of up to 100 ml in vials whose volume does not exceed 100 ml;
  • food that does not leak and does not spoil (apples, sandwiches, dried biscuits, and others);
  • baby food for the duration of the flight, if you are flying with a child;
  • phone, laptop, camera, and other equipment, some carriers allow only without a cover;
  • a hand-bag or briefcase that fits into an airline calibrator;
  • bouquet of flowers;
  • outerwear;
  • a baby stroller or a carrier for children under two years old, provided that the dimensions comply with the rules of the carrier;
  • crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, canes that can be placed either under the seat or on the overhead locker;
  • medications necessary for the duration of the flight.
