Passengers who fly with a connecting flight often have a question whether they need to get their luggage at the transfer point or not. If you have one ticket for the entire route and all flights are operated by one airline, you do not need to get your luggage at the transfer points, it will be transferred automatically. If you have the same ticket, but different airlines, you can find out at the check-in desk on the very first flight whether you need to get the luggage or not.

If the tickets are different, then you will definitely need to get the luggage upon arrival at the transfer point and register it for the next flight yourself.
