Registration Rejection Reasons

Ozon closely monitors that the marketplace rules are followed and carefully checks contractors for compliance with the Security service requirements. If your registration application was rejected, you will see an error message in your seller account.

All possible rejection reasons are listed in the table below.

The Counterparty (Customer) name specified in the details in the Personal Account doesn’t match the name in the registration document. Please specify the correct name and send it for re-checking. Learn more about correcting this error
Dear Counterparty, we always try to carefully check the documents and information about our counterparties before confirming the registration. As a part of our counterparty due diligence process, sometimes we come across facts that don’t allow us to continue registration. Unfortunately, your account can’t be activated due to the following reason: Violation of our rules that have been noticed in your company in the past. If you get rejected for this reason, you are not allowed to continue working with Ozon.
Dear Counterparty, we always try to carefully check the documents and information about our counterparties before confirming the registration. As a part of our counterparty due diligence process, sometimes we come across facts that don’t allow us to continue registration. Unfortunately, your account can’t be activated due to the following reason: Existence of outstanding debt. If you get rejected for this reason, you are not allowed to continue working with Ozon.
Dear Counterparty, we always try to carefully check the documents and information about our counterparties before confirming the registration. As a part of our counterparty due diligence process, sometimes we come across facts that don’t allow us to continue registration. Unfortunately, your account can’t be activated due to the following reason: Legal proceeding in which your company is (or was) the defendant. If you get rejected for this reason, you are not allowed to continue working with Ozon.
Dear Counterparty, we always try to carefully check the documents and information about our counterparties before confirming the registration. As a part of our counterparty due diligence process, sometimes we come across facts, that don’t allow us to continue registration. Unfortunately, your account can’t be activated due to inconsistency of information about the company with our internal due diligence rules. If you get rejected for this reason, you are not allowed to continue working with Ozon.
Your request hasn’t passed the security check. It’s not possible to conclude a contract. If you get rejected for this reason, you are not allowed to continue working with Ozon.

In some rare cases, Ozon may also refuse to register a counterparty due to non-compliance with Ozon’s internal requirements.
