Ozon Safety Golden Rules

The safety of yourself and others is the personal responsibility of all Ozon employees and contractors.

Safety rules help business units comply with basic safety requirements at facilities. The rules are used as a checklist to follow basic safety procedures and processes to protect people and equipment from hazards.

Safety rules apply to all Ozon facilities and require compliance with:

  • health and safety,
  • fire safety,
  • environment.

Health and Safety #

To perform any work, you must have:

  • Qualifications: be instructed and trained, have professional skills.
  • Personal protective equipment: overalls, safety shoes and other protective equipment.
  • Serviceable equipment and tools.

For works with increased risk it is necessary to have:

  • Medical clearance: medical examination and psychiatric examination.
  • Permit-to-work: admission to work with risk assessment.
  • Personal and collective protection equipment. For example, safety belts.

Fire Safety #

It is forbidden to obstruct and block with goods, equipment and other items:

  • Primary fire extinguishing equipment: fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, and fire cabinets.
  • Evacuation systems: doors, passageways, escape routes, stairs, evacuation plans and signs.
  • Fire automation and electronics: consoles, buttons, sensors and electrical panels.

Ecology #

Waste must be separated into fractions and placed in special containers for recycling:

  • cardboard or paper,
  • film,
  • plastic,
  • wood,
  • metal,
  • glass.
