Direct communications is one of the services you can get by creating a marketing request. It helps to promote your products using marketing emails and mobile push notifications.

Personalized marketing email #

This is an email with information about your promotion. It is sent out to the customers who were interested in products similar to yours.

A marketing email may contain the following:

  • A banner with a link to your landing page. Banner size: 576 × 460 pixels. The landing page is subject to moderation.
  • A banner and from 8 to 12 products. Banner size: 576 × 288 pixels.

The cost depends on the product category and number of email recipients.

Adding your banner to a mass email #

We’ll add your banner to our daily email for all Ozon customers. It covers about 6 million users.

Banner size: 576 × 288 pixels.

Adding one banner costs 50,000 rubles.

Push notifications #

These are notifications about your promotion sent to the Ozon app users who were interested in products similar to yours.

Such notifications may contain the following:

  • Plain text information with a link to your landing page.
  • Text information and a banner with a link to your landing page. Banner size: 450 × 255 px.

The landing page is subject to moderation.

The cost depends on the product category and number of notification recipients.

Creating a direct communication request #

We ask you to send communication materials ten business days prior to the launch, so that changes can be made if necessary. The materials must be finalized three business days before the launch. No changes can be made after that time.

If you’ve already made marketing requests #

  1. In your personal account, go to the Promotion → Stencils section.

  2. Click Marketing requests.

  3. Click Create a request.

  4. Select Package placement.

  5. Specify the promoted products category, activities you’re interested in, and budget. Fill in the Comment field with the following information:

    • planned placement date,
    • mailing list size,
    • any other important information.
  6. Click Send a request.

An Ozon manager will contact you to clarify the details of your marketing campaign.

If you haven’t made any marketing requests yet #

  1. Send your request to support: click in the bottom left corner of your personal account and select Create a request.

  2. Select the Advertisement → Marketing requests subject.

  3. In the message, specify the promoted products category, budget, and activities you’re interested in: banners, emails. Additionally specify the following:

    • planned placement date,
    • mailing list size,
    • any other important information.
  4. Click Send.

An Ozon manager will contact you to clarify the details and create your first request.
